Levy served as the chief commercial officer at EVgo, one of the country’s largest EV charging networks and in senior posts within a clean energy investment firm. He also worked for the US federal government, including deputy chief of staff at the US Department of Energy. During his tenure at EVgo, Levy played a pivotal role in driving the company’s top-line growth and building key relationships with automakers, utilities, white label commercial partners and public policy stakeholders.

Based in Kaluza’s Washington, DC, office, Levy will lead the expansion of operations across the US and support the launch of new smart charging programs with utility and auto OEM partners. Building on over four years’ experience in this area, including the world’s largest domestic V2X trial, Kaluza has already deployed a managed charging program in the Bay Area, creating cost and carbon savings for customers.

“Kaluza’s climate-focused mission and deep expertise in the UK and other global markets make it a natural leader to help solve these challenges in the United States,” said Levy. “There is a huge opportunity to use EVs as intelligent storage devices as customers make the switch to electric and I’m thrilled to be unlocking this opportunity with Kaluza and its auto and utility clients.”
